Hi Friends! Today I’m sharing My Current Skin Care Routine, featuring all the products I use each day and night. I’ve done A LOT of product research on this and have tested so many cleaners, serums and moisturizers I cant even count them! This current routine has been working really well by not clogging my pores, leaving my skin soft, hydrated and glowing while reducing the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Thats the name of the game! My skin is on the dry side so I go for products that will hydrate my skin while reducing wrinkles. As you will see – I’m a huge fan of the G.M. Collin products, they may be a little pricey but keep in mind good skin care products go a long way! I easily get about 3 month out of these products.

My Current Skin Care Routine:

Every skincare routine starts out with this Fleece bowknot headband! I’m going to admit, I’m headband challenged! For some reason they all slide of my head! But this one is perfect! No sliding and holds my hair back throughout my whole skincare routine and right into my make up routine.

Tula cleanser

I’m loving this Tula Purifying face cleanser these days! It leaves my face feeling so fresh and clean and doesn’t seem to dry my skin out like so many other cleansers do. It’s gentle yet effective. I use it twice a day and absolutely love how it makes my skin feel. Its the first step in my skin care routine both morning and night. This cleanser is loaded with allllll the good stuff including:

  • Lactic acid naturally cleanses and exfoliates to reveal healthy, radiant looking skin.
  • Chicory root is a natural anti-inflammatory prebiotic that helps boost the appearance of firmer skin.
  • Turmeric root is a powerful antioxidant that helps reduce signs of inflammation.
  • Blueberries are rich in antioxidants that help protect from free-radical attack.
  • Probiotics hydrate and lock in moisture.

I have had my Clarisonic for years! It is great for exfoliating and deep cleaning. I use it 3 times per week as part of my nightly routine. I simply splash warm water on my face and squeeze some of the Tula cleanser on it and the little rotating bristles do the rest. The Clarisonic pulses through with a T Timer (think electric toothbrush that stops and starts to prompt you to move to the next section) each pause reminds you to move to another part of your face. When I’m lax about using it, which hey, happens sometimes – I notice right away! When I’m done, I simply rinse and dry my face with a soft towel and then move on to my serums.

As part of GM Collins new line is this City D – Tox Serum. I’ve been using this along with the City D – Tox eye serum and have seen great improvement in my skin, particularly with reduced wrinkles! Yay! I use this at night only because it doesn’t sit well under my foundation during the day time. However, I’m finding that using it just at night is working well.

Next I apply the GM Collin City D Tox Eye Contor Gel. I’ve been using this for the last few months along with the face serum and have noticed a difference in the reduction of wrinkles around my eyes, and friends that’s a good thing! This gel goes on so smooth and hydrates my very dry “allergy eyes” as I like to call them. It has a metallic ball applicator that is in a word…delightful! It gives a soothing, cooling sensation. I’ve tried many different serums that have irritated the skin around my eyes and this one not only hydrates them but soothe’s them as well. Another pricey product but you would be surprised how long this little tube of goodness lasts. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Ultra fresh eye contour gel provides the ultimate solution against pollution.
  • Reduces the look of dark circles, puffiness and the appearance of expression lines.
  • Refreshes and illuminates the eye contour area, as well as replenishes the skin’s moisture barrier.
  • With a unique metallic applicator that provides an instant refreshing and cooling sensation.

Next I apply this GM Collin Optimal Hydramucine Optimal Creme. This has been my go to moisturizer for at least 3 years now. My tried and true! It’s a tad bit pricey but it works well with my skin which tends to be on the dry side. It smells wonderful and leaves my skin moisturized and ready for my make up! It is perfect for normal to dry skin.

About 2 x’s a month I use this Retinol Purifying Charcoal Mask and find it leaves my skin glowing! It is designed to remove impurities and clean and clarify leaving you with illuminating skin.

I follow this routine day and night and only omit the GM Collin City D – Tox face serum during the day. Aside from being diligent about this routine, another important step in my skincare routine is getting regular facials. My skincare specialist is amazing and my favorite part if the facial is Microdermablasion. You can read more about Microdermablasion here. Ladies its a game changer!
