China Cabinet Hutch Makeover Before and After

This project involves repurposing a 1980s china cabinet hutch into a stylish linen cabinet for a guest bedroom.

The hutch was acquired from Facebook Marketplace for $50, with an additional $15 spent on a glass insert for one missing door.

BIN Shellac primer was used to prevent stain bleeding from the dark wood, followed by two coats of Dixie Belle Chalk Paint in "Cotton."

A cremone bolt, purchased for $33.99, was used as decorative hardware, enhancing the piece's Restoration Hardware-inspired aesthetic.

Window film was applied to the glass doors, providing a chic touch and maintaining the option to change the look in the future.

The total cost of the entire furniture makeover, including supplies, was $149.16, resulting in a customized and budget-friendly linen cabinet.
