Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 8 oz can crescent roll dough
  • 1 8 oz wheel of brie
  • 1/4 cup fig jam
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries (or fresh cranberries sliced thin)
  • 1 tsp finely chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 lg egg

Fopr serving

  • Crostini or sturdy crackers
  • 1 bunch Grapes or figs

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°. Line a rimmed baking dish with parchment paper.
  • Open can of crescent dough and place 1/2 of the dough on a lightly floured surface and roll with rolling pin.
  • Place brie in the center of the dough. Then spread Jam on top of the brie after add rosemary, cranberries and pecans.
  • Fold dough up to enclose cheese and filling, pleating dough to fit. Trim any excess pastry and press seams to seal. Transfer to baking pan.
  • in a bowl whisk egg with 1 teaspoon of water and brush outside of pastry with egg wash.
  • Press a few pecan halves into top of dough to decorate.
  • Bake until dough is golden brown, about 20 minutes. Let cool slightly. Serve with crackers, fresh figs and grapes, if desired.
