Meet Stephanie

A close up image of my face.

Welcome to Celebrated Nest. I’m Stephanie LeBlanc, a lifelong creator with a love for home, gardening, and the beauty of everyday living. This space was created to help you shape a home that feels deeply lived in, a place filled with warmth, creativity, and personal style.

What began as a DIY and decorating blog has grown into a place where home, garden, and kitchen all come together. Here, you will find resources that support your own creativity, from decorating ideas and handmade projects to gardening tips and simple, comforting recipes designed for real family moments.

My hope is that Celebrated Nest feels like your favorite home and garden magazine, created by someone who is right here doing it alongside you. Season after season, I return to the same things I share here: thoughtful homemaking, garden experimenting, and meals that welcome people back to the table, especially when the kids are coming home for dinner.

Experience behind Celebrated Nest

My background is rooted in creative work. Before I ever picked up a paintbrush or planted a rosemary stem, I spent years as a professional floral designer. That training shaped how I see color, balance, texture, and seasonality, and those same principles guide how I decorate a room, build a tablescape, garden with intention, and bring recipes to the table.

At home, most of our projects are a collaboration between my husband, Ray, and me. He brings over 30 years of carpentry and building experience, and I bring the vision. Together, we have renovated spaces, built custom pieces, and turned a standard New England home into something personal and warm. Every project I share here is something we have truly lived with, tested, and refined.

I do not approach home, garden, or kitchen from theory. I approach it from experience, with hands in the soil, brushes on the walls, dinner on the stove, and family at the table. That is the heart behind every tutorial, garden tip, and recipe on Celebrated Nest. It is learned, lived, and shared so you can make it your own.

Family and season of life

My husband, Ray, and I have spent more than three decades building our life here in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, where we raised our four children. Today, our family has grown to include two wonderful daughters-in-law, a beautiful granddaughter (and a host of granddogs), along with our chocolate labs, Allie and Cooper, who love family gatherings as much as we do.

We are in a season where the house is no longer full every day, but it often fills up on weekends, holidays, and sometimes without warning. Our children all live nearby, which is a gift, and it means family meals can still come together on short notice. Some are planned well in advance, and others begin with a simple text asking if anyone wants to stop by. Many of the recipes I share are born from those moments, shaped by the dishes my family asks for again and again.

Whether we are babysitting, helping with a home project, or pouring coffee around the kitchen island, family remains at the center of our home. Celebrated Nest reflects that. It is a place built for returning, for adding new chairs to the table, and for celebrating each season of home and family as it grows.

A note to you

If you are someone who loves creating a welcoming home, experimenting in the garden, or cooking a meal that brings people together, you are in the right place. My hope is that the ideas you find here serve you in your own season of life, whether you are decorating a room, tending herbs, or preparing something simple for the people you love.

Ours is not a perfect home, but it is a well-loved one, built slowly over time and shaped by family, projects, and everyday life. Around here, you may find dog hair on the floor, flour on the counter, and a project in motion somewhere. I share it all so you feel welcome to do the same, to create, to gather, and to enjoy your home exactly as it is.

Welcome to our home, where the door is always open and the coffee and ideas are flowing - grab a cup and join me!

I'm so glad you are here!

Let's Connect

I am grateful you are here. This space is meant to be a conversation, and I love hearing from those who are making, growing, or gathering in their own homes. Each week, I share Happenings Around the Nest - a simple, unfiltered look at projects, garden notes, family meals, and whatever is taking shape here. It is the best way to stay connected beyond the blog.

If you ever want to reach out, request a topic, or explore a brand collaboration, I would love to hear from you.
